Join Art Studio 760 for our Summer Vacation Art Program!

Students entering grades K-8th enrolled in Art Studio 760 Summer Vacation Program weeks will experience working with a variety of artistic mediums! This program is divided into one week sessions, each with specific themes based on the Color Wheel! Students will explore the world of color through a wide range of art experiences as well as focusing on techniques inspired by studying different time periods in Art History. 


This 9 week Color Wheel program features a focus on one color per week.


Week 1: June 24 - 28

PURPLE


Week 2: July 1 - 3 (half week)

BLUE

Week 3: July 8 - 12 TURQUOISE

Week 4: July 15 - 19 GREEN


Week 5: July 22 - 26

YELLOW


Week 6: July 29 - August 2 ORANGE


Week 7: August 5 - 9

RED


Week 8: August 12 - 16

PINK


Week 9: August 19 - 23

WARM & COOL


We'll have a range of art experiences while focusing on methods and techniques inspired by studying different periods in art history, the principles of design, and the elements of art! 


Explore something new every week! Your child will have a true Art Studio 760 experience with access to multiple projects. They will choose from a collection of activities including:

• Drawing realistically from observation

• Drawing manga & anime faces

• Acrylic Painting on canvases

• Watercolor painting, summer scenes

• Sewing/soft sculpture with felt

• Air dry clay

• Making boardgames

• Beaded necklaces, bracelets and keychains

• Yarn, weaving and macramé

• Stenciling and decoupage

• Printmaking and mixed media collage


Each participant will receive a sketchbook for journaling their summer vacation Color Wheel experiences!

Sessions are available half day or full day. 


Morning Session: 10AM - 12PM

Supervised Break: 12PM - 1PM

Afternoon Session: 1PM - 3PM


Students registered for full day will have a 1 hour supervised lunch break in the Art Studio Lounge and must provide a lunch from home and some snacks.  Please add all sessions: morning, afternoon and break to your cart before booking.


Classes are taught by certified art educator and professional artist Susan Keefe. With the limited enrollment of just 10 students per booking, Art Studio 760 maintains an excellent teacher-to-student ratio!


Registration will close one week prior to each session start date.
