Adult Art Classes

Relaxed, skill-building art classes with individualized guidance for all levels

Join Us Wednesday Nights

Choose from two 2-hour sessions: 3:30–5:30 PM or 5:30–7:30 PM.

Adult classes are open to all experience levels and offer a relaxed, supportive studio environment where you can build skills, explore new materials, and develop your own creative style.

Class Options

Option 1: $40 per session — includes all supplies and guided instruction

Option 2: $10 per session — bring your own materials and work independently with guidance

What to Expect in Adult Classes

Adult classes at Art Studio 760 are designed to support both beginners and experienced artists in a flexible, open studio setting.

Participants can expect:

  • Individualized guidance in a relaxed, open studio atmosphere

  • Support getting started with new materials and techniques

  • Help developing drawing and observation skills

  • Suggestions for supplies, colors, and tools

  • Opportunities to explore painting, drawing, and mixed media

  • A welcoming, collaborative environment for both new and returning artists

Whether you're returning to art or exploring something new, you’ll be supported at your own pace while building confidence and skill.

OPTIONS

PROJECTS

Art Studio 760 offers a wide range of drawing and painting experiences, including observational drawing, watercolor, acrylic, and mixed media.

Students are encouraged to explore different materials, develop their personal style, and build skills over time in a supportive studio setting.

OPEN STUDIO

Our Adult Art Sessions offer a structured yet flexible way to build skills in a relaxed, judgment-free environment.

Participants work with a wide range of materials—graphite, charcoal, colored pencils, watercolor, and acrylics—while developing their personal style and observational skills.

New: Nature Journaling for Adults

Our adult sessions now include a focus on nature drawing, offering a calm and mindful way to connect observation, drawing, and creativity.

Using sketching, watercolor, and simple journaling techniques, participants can explore seasonal changes, natural forms, and personal creative expression—both in the studio and through occasional outdoor inspiration.

This is a welcoming option for all levels, with no prior experience needed.

Schedule a Complimentary Studio Visit

Come visit Art Studio 760 for a complimentary 30-minute introductory studio visit. This is a relaxed opportunity to see the studio in action, explore the space, and learn more about our adult classes.

 

You’ll get a feel for the studio environment, materials, and teaching style while asking questions and seeing how sessions work. It’s a great way to experience Art Studio 760 as a real, working art studio where you can create, learn, and feel comfortable at any level.

Visits available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 3:30–4:00 PM.

New Monthly Offering

Sunday Evening Stretch & Reset

Unwind and reset at the end of your week with this gentle, 75-minute session designed to help you release tension and reconnect with your body. Led by experienced instructor Ann Callahan, each class includes light stretching, breath work, meditation, and simple yoga in a calm, welcoming studio environment. Open to all levels, this is a relaxing way to slow down, feel better in your body, and start the week ahead feeling grounded and refreshed.
