Kids & Teen Art Classes

Small-group classes where kids and teens build real art skills and explore their creativity.

Build Skills, Explore Creativity, and Create with Confidence

Kids and teens build real art skills in a small-group setting with individualized guidance, warm-up drawing practice, and a wide range of creative project choices.

Classes are designed for beginners, returning students, and those with specific interests like anime, painting, comics, sculpture, or mixed media—so every student can explore what inspires them while developing strong foundational skills.

Class Pricing

Each class is $50 per student, per session and includes all art supplies and individualized instruction.

Classes are intentionally kept small (up to 12 students) to ensure each student receives personal guidance and support.

What to Expect in Class

Each two-hour session is thoughtfully structured to support both skill-building and creative exploration.

Students can expect:

  • A 5–10 minute drawing warm-up to strengthen observation and drawing skills

  • A strong foundation in the Elements of Art and Principles of Design

  • One-on-one guidance from artist and educator Susan Keefe

  • Flexible project choices based on each student’s interests and goals

  • Opportunities to work across drawing, painting, 3-D collage, anime/comics, papier-mâché, and stop-motion

  • Art history-based lessons through the Time Machine program

  • Drawing journals and “passport-style” creative exploration

Students build confidence and artistic skills over time in a supportive, small-group environment that balances structure with creative freedom.
