Summer Vacation Art Program

Our popular Summer Vacation Art Program for students entering grades K–8 is now open for registration!

Each week focuses on a different color theme from the Color Wheel, combining artistic exploration with techniques inspired by Art History and the Elements of Art. Students will enjoy a wide variety of projects including acrylic painting, watercolor, air-dry clay, sewing, printmaking, manga drawing, and much more!

  • Sessions are full day, 10AM–3PM, with a one-hour supervised lunch break in the Art Studio Lounge. Students must provide a lunch from home and some snacks.

  • Classes are taught by certified art educator and professional artist Susan Keefe. With limited enrollment of just 12 students per session, Art Studio 760 maintains an excellent teacher-to-student ratio.

Registration will close one week prior to each session start date.

This 9 week Color Wheel program features a focus on one color per week.

  • Week 1: June 23 - 27: PURPLE

  • Week 2: June 30 - July 3 (no Friday): BLUE

  • Week 3: July 7 - 11: TURQUOISE

  • Week 4: July 14 - 18: GREEN

  • Week 5: July 21 - 25: YELLOW

  • Week 6: July 28 - August 1: ORANGE

  • Week 7: August 4 - 8: RED

  • Week 8: August 11 - 15: PINK

  • Week 9: August 18 - 22: WARM & COOL

Students will explore techniques from different periods in art history while learning about the principles of design and elements of art!

Explore something new every week! Your child will have a true Art Studio 760 experience with access to multiple projects. They will choose from a collection of activities including:

  • Drawing realistically from observation

  • Acrylic painting on canvases

  • Watercolor summer scenes

  • Sewing and soft sculpture with felt

  • Air-dry clay projects
